About Me and My Practice

Greetings, welcome to my practice!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Supervisor (LCSW-S) and I offer culturally-affirming psychotherapy for diverse populations in Texas.

I am a cisgender, heterosexual, 2nd generation biracial woman of Indian and Iranian descent, and I specialize in working with Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) from multicultural backgrounds. I use she/her pronouns.

Some of my specialty areas include relationship issues, co-dependency, living with medical conditions, women's issues, and healing from trauma.  As a trauma survivor, I know how complex the healing journey can be.

I am also a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), Reiki Master (IARP certified), and trained Clairvoyant. I have a unique perspective both as an alternative healer and a traditional psychotherapist.

In my personal life I love dancing, being in nature, and enjoying art of any kind! Relationships are important to me, I spend as much time as I can with loved ones.

 My Values and Approach

Relational-Cultural Theoretical (RCT) Perspective

In my practice, I operate from a Relational-Cultural Theoretical (RCT) perspective, which is aligned with feminism, multiculturalism, and social justice.

This means I am relational with my clients, I see therapy as a healing process among equals, and I continue to do my own healing work in my life so that I can be the best resource I can be for you.

Holistic & Integrative Approach

I have experience working in medical facilities such as psychiatric inpatient hospitals and primary care settings in academic environments, which have influenced my practice to be integrative in nature.

As an integrative therapist, I strive to see you as a whole person, and am interested in how the various parts of your medical and personal history have influenced your life.

My intention in my work is to facilitate a nurturing, healing space to help empower you to connect with your deepest wisdom to live the life you envision. Using a holistic approach emphasizing mindfulness-based techniques, I provide psychotherapy and consultation in a relational way.

I see therapy as an educational process. As wisdom increases in the context of compassion, more healing can occur
